In a effort to diversify, we have expanded our team. Meet our newest members Mike Harkin, Vernon Andrade, and Jim Eichert.
Mr. Michael Harkin, Principal Airline/ATM Operations Analyst, brings thirty-six years of experience in airline operations control, flight dispatch, Air Traffic Management research and airline operations systems to Robust Analytics research efforts and technical solutions. Prior to Robust Analytics, he was a Principal Operations Consultant for Sabre Airline Solutions, Systems Engineer for The MITRE Corporations Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD), and Aircraft Dispatcher for FedEx, Braniff Airlines, and Pan Am. Mr. Harkin also served as Executive VP and Director of Government Affairs for the Airline Dispatchers Federation.
Mr. Vernon Andrade, Senior Operations Analyst, is an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with three type ratings. He was the manager of the Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) at two air carriers. He served as advisor to FAA NextGen Operations and Planning branch, Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO), and the Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Office of Safety and Quality Assurance. He has worked on the FAA 2025 Flight Plan objectives, which included Trajectory Based Operations (TBO). Mr. Andrade has also assisted the FAA in implementing the new Part 117 – Pilot Flight, Duty, and Rest regulations. The work included reviewing air carrier Fatigue Risk Management Plans (FRMP), Fatigue Risk Management Systems (FRMS), Fatigue Education and Training (FEAT) programs, along with requests for deviations and exemptions. Vernon Andrade has a Bachelors and Masters in Economics from the State University of New York.
Mr. Jim Eichert, Software Developer, worked in defense and space applications for the last thirty years. Collaborated with scientists at Johns Hopkins in producing calibrated and certified images of the upper atmosphere using ultraviolet camera systems. He supported several scientific satellite missions performing ground system to satellite communications. Mr. Eichert also designed and implemented communications software between on board combat management system and sensors/weapons systems on several naval combat ships.
