In another project milestone, on July 1 Robust Analytics completed the first stage of flight tests of its Dispatch Operations and Control for Autonomous Fleets (DOCAF). These first tests demonstrated the use of the DOCAF Fleet Command Center (FCC) software to control and monitor an autonomous vehicle, from departure to destination and return. A second test successfully demonstrated use of the FCC to execute in-flight re-routing on an airborne vehicle. The third field test successfully connected the Robust Analytics prototype deployable urban altitude weather station to the DOCAF web application, transmitting real-time wind measurements to the dispatcher workstation. The final set of flight tests are on track to meet the original schedule of the end of July 2020. Flight tests are conducted at the Robust Autonomous Fleet Test Range (RAFTeR) on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
